The Queen Mary Hotel is ideally located in the heart of Paris, in the 8th district. A stone's throw from the Printemps and Galeries Lafayette department stores, the hotel is located between the Madeleine church to the south by rue Tronchet and the Saint Lazare train station to the north by rue du Havre, both a few minutes walking distance
Via rue des Mathurins, parallel to boulevard Haussmann, the Opéra Garnier is also very close to our property. The rue des Mathurins, in fact, begins at the boulevard Malesherbes and ends at the start of the rue Scribe on which the west facade of the Opera opens.
Despite the proximity of lively places and shops, the Queen Mary hotel is very quiet and away from these main arteries, in the small one-way rue Greffulhe, which begins on rue des Mathurins at the level of the Théâtre des Mathurins and the Castellane Street.
The nearby Havre Caumartin metro station allows you to reach directly by line 9, in a few minutes, towards the South-West, the Place du Trocadéro to admire the Eiffel Tower from the other side of the Seine and heading towards the East, the place of the Nation passing by that of the Republic and in the North. Line 3, on the other hand, allows you to go north and Porte de Champerret or to go quickly to the Montorgueil district, Les Halles with their new canopy and the Pompidou center.
By taking the metro at the Madeleine, you have the choice of getting on line 8 which will take you to the left bank and to the entrance to the Champs de Mars if you get off at the Ecole Militaire station. You can just as well get off 1 or 2 stations before, if you want to visit the Invalides or the Rodin Museum. The other possibility is to take line 12 which also takes you to the left bank and the Montparnasse area but also to the North and the Montmartre hill. Get off at Abbesses and walk the cobbled streets and the stairs of the hill that will lead you to the Sacré Coeur.
